Peanut Butter Drive - Children in Haiti
I recently met a wonderful woman name Bea. She brought to my attention this crisis and I hope this post will help increase participation.
Lifeline Christian Mission is currently holding its 6th Annual Peanut Butter Drive. This is a nutrition program to provide impoverished, starving and malnourished toddlers, kids and adults in Haiti with peanut butter and other nutritious foods. Peanut butter is rich in protein, vitamins & minerals, which is just what the children need! The goal for 2007 is 75,000 jars!!!
You can collect peanut butter at your church, school, work, organization, neighborhood...where ever!! If you are interested please contact Beatrice King at bebeking216@yahoo.com or 859-333-3714.
