Going Green Fashionably is Possible!

There can be a misconception that just because you enjoy Botox, fashion and other Haute stuff, that you are not environmentally conscious....NOT SO!

It is important, however, to reduce your family's exposure to dangerous chemicals.
Avoid exposure to Parabens, Artificial Fragrances & Colors, Phthalates & other hormone disruptors. You don't have to be the crunchy/granola type-there are lots of luxurious products available...

Mineral Makeup from La Bella Donna (available at Belle Vie Medspa), Glo Minerals (available at Laser Perfect Med Spa) and Bare Minerals (available at Ulta). All provide beautiful results without scary chemicals.

Sulfate and Paraben-Free Bath and Body Products from 100% Pure, Burt's Bee's, Decleor, and Trilogy.

Toluene, formaldehyde and dibutyl phthalate - free
nail polishes including Chanel, M.A.C. and L'Oreal Paris PRO manicure.

And how cool are the Cargo PlantLove Lipsticks ? The box can be planted in the ground to grow wildflowers, the tube is made of a polymer made from corn that is greenhouse-gas-neutral, $2 from every tube sold goes to St. Jude Hospital, and the colors are beautiful (and were designed by some haute celebrities including Lindsay Lohan, Mariska Hargitay, and Sarah Chalke).

Fashion-wise, consider one of this Spring's haute trends...cork shoes. Cork is one of nature's most renewable materials...
or the fun and funky recycled fashions at ecoist.
We could go on forever...there are so many easy ways to make a difference...and every little bit counts!
